School of Enviornmental Science and Management (SchEMS), was established in 1999. SchEMS is the first affiliated institution of the Pokhara University. This year, SchEMS celebrates 23rd year of working with the Pokhara University.

Academic Programs

The academic programs undertaken at SchEMS are:

• B.Sc. in Environmental Management since 1999
• M.Sc. in Environmental Management since 2000
• BBA Bachelors in Business Administration since 2008
• BCA Bachelor of Computer Application since 2018

Besides academic programs, SchEMS also undertakes research and consultancy works and training programsin environment, such as Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Mainstreaming, Climate Changeand Loss and Damage Studies, Environmental Baseline Studies, Environmental Monitoring of Development Works, GIS and Remote Sering, Data Analysis and Management etc.
