Course Description

Pokhara University launched the program of Bachelor of Health Care Management (BHCM) in 2000 AD to fulfill the growing need of qualified health care professionals with health care management / administration degree. This 8 Semesters (4 Years) program prepares students to enter management practice in a health care setting. 

Different health care companies, hospitals and organizations related to health care management, are in need of qualified and trained candidates with health care management / administration degree.  

Bachelor of Health Care Management (BHCM) program has the following objectives to achieve its mission:

  1. To produce qualified health care management / administration professionals.
  2. To acquaint students with modern principles, concepts and ways of health care management.
  3. To arouse awareness and interest in students about the importance and fundamental role that health care management plays in strengthening the development of the country and the people.
  4. To prepare students for higher-level studies and research, such as Master's Degree and Ph.D. in this area.

Eligibility

Students should have scored minimum of "C" Grade in all subjects in 10+2 (Secondary Level)

OR

 minimum second division from +2(intermediate) level or Equivalent from in any discipline is required.

Based on performance on written test, personal interview the final selection will be done.
