Under the faculty of humanities and social sciences of Tribhuvan University (TU), Bachelor of Arts in Social Work is a four year academic program renewed with new curriculum. The main of aim of this course is to generate generalist social workers to address and solve social problems of Nepal. In this course, students will be learning basic theories, principles and methods of social work through intensive field-work. After graduation, some of the job prospects for the students are government organizations, I/NGOs, research institutions and consultancies, news agencies and so on. Eligibility i. Students seeking admission in Social Work must have secured at least D+ in all subjects in Grade 11 and Grade 12. ii. Passed + 2 or Intermediate or PCL from TU or from any other institution recognized by TU with a minimum of 45% marks.
