CCRC bagged the title of National Level Mathematics Quiz

Ashadh16, Kathmandu. Capital College and Research Center (CCRC College) has won the title of National Level Mathematics Quiz, organized by Everest Engineering College and conducted by NSMG Education. The final round was held on Saturday where CCRC College claimed the title along with the certificates, trophy, Rs.50,000 in cash, two laptops and a full scholarship for BE Course.

Similarly, Motherland Secondary School stood second and received Rs.20,000 in cash and a partial scholarship for BE studies, and Xavier International College stood third position and received Rs. 10,00 cash prizes. Likewise, Liverpool International College secured 4th position. The awards and cash prizes were distributed by Arun Bhandari, Executive Director of Everest Engineering College.

Ninety schools/colleges from across the country had participated in the quiz competition organized by Everest Engineering College-Lalitpur, one of the top-notch engineering colleges in Nepal. Out of the participating teams, 82 teams were eliminated from the selection phase and 8 teams paved way to the final round. The competition was conducted by NSMG EDUCATION.

The contest was designed to aware the young students the importance of Mathematics and helping them in capacity building. Everest Engineering College has been organizing such a creative work for the last three years where hundreds of plus two schools/ students across Nepal are actively participating.

The Award Ceremony was chaired by Er. Laxminath Nepal, the president of Everest Engineering College whereas Joint Secretary of Nepal Mathematics Society-Dr. Jivan Kafle graced the program as the chief guest and Chintan Bista, Director of Everest Engineering College hosted the program.
