Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA)

Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) is the pure & prefect practical computer based IT course. It produces highly qualified and smart comput- er professionals with theories & practical knowledge base in IT sectors. Its application is popular amongst the students of various computer science schools both in eastern and western countries. BCA is internationally recognized degree with sufficient credit hours, recently launched by Tribhuwan University. This 4 Years and 8 semester based international standard course is designed to develop computer software through sound practical skilled to address problems arising from computer system and applications. Professionally, BCA & MCA are highly demanded courses at the present competitive scenario of marketing and IT sector.

Programme objective:

The objective of BCA, affiliated to TU, is to provide expertise in the field of information technology, to the students, from any faculty. Students will be able serve in the society as Software Developers, ICT System Designers as well as Leaders in their respective field.  

BCA graduates can pursue their career as System Administrators, Software Developers, ICT System Designers, Database administrators, Artificial Intelligence Engineers, Network administrators, Project Managers, Web development engineers, Research scientist and Leaders in their respective fields.
